In this multi-speaker presentation, we will discuss how to create a seasonal horticultural display throughout an institution. The session will focus on institution wide approaches of creating “themes” in the displays, which includes fusion of horticulture, education, event programming, visitor services, science, and development. The details of creating artistic, cutting edge, and creative displays will be discussed such as developing the team, brainstorming, sourcing, speculative purchasing, associated programming possibilities, and creating the designs that intrigue our visitors. Presenters will be able to give perspectives from both institutions who work on a small budget to those with large fiscal capacity, and design approaches will be discussed for indoor as well as small and large outdoor
