This Town Hall covers the challenges and opportunities of exhibits in a COVID-19 world. Guest speaker is Dr. V. Ann Tippett, Executive Director of the Schiele Natural History Museum in Gastonia, NC. The Schiele mirrors much of the diversity of our garden community: they are owned by the city; they have/create permanent, temporary, and travelling exhibits; they have creative play spaces; they have animals and insects; and, indoor and outdoor spaces. After her presentation, the conversation opened to the group to talk about how they are adapting their exhibits (or not) as we open up our institutions. Finally resources for COVID-19 were shared with the group.
