Green walls offer an opportunity to utilize and incorporate vertical spaces into the landscape. They can be used to improve air quality, provide space to grow food in urban locations, reduce energy demands for heating and cooling in buildings, or simply provide beauty from plants in places previously considered only the home of masonry, glass, and metal. Decisions made early in the planning process can be critical to the success, longevity, and long-term sustainability of a greenwall installation.
