IMLS Grant Applications Open
Last year APGA member public gardens received over $4M in funding for projects from three IMLS-related grant opportunities. The application process for 2025 Grants is open now. Eight grant categories are available, including $3M specifically dedicated to small museums for projects up to $75K.

RFP: Garden Board Member Experience
The American Public Gardens Association (APGA) is accepting proposals from organizations to facilitate APGA’s 2025 Garden Board Member Experience workshop series in Winter 2025. The successful applicant will create and present an engaging four-part webinar series that provides in-depth education for board members and leaders of the public horticulture industry.

APGA Becomes CFRE Participating Organization
As a Participating Organization, fundraising professionals who work for gardens that are members of APGA receive a 20 percent discount on Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) initial certification and recertification. CFRE Participating Organizations promote CFRE certification to their members to support fundraising professionals in centering their work on globally accepted ethical best practices.
