Katie joined the Association in 2022 as the Member Development Manager. In her role, she will contribute as a leader towards the Association’s strategic goals for membership engagement and organizational excellence. In addition, Katie is directly responsible for growing and diversifying our membership by overseeing customer care and managing our member database.
Katie is originally from Cleveland, OH, and has a B.A. in Communications and Theatre from Hiram College and a M.A. in nonprofit management from Cleveland State University. She has worked in fundraising for over 15 years in the nonprofit sector. Her most recent positions were in the development departments at Holden Forests & Gardens and Delaware Nature Society. Katie loves plants and trees. She lives in Wilmington, Delaware, with her husband, Mike, and their two miniature schnauzers, Sophie and CeCe.
