Every gift plants a seed of resilience

NOTE: The August issue of Public Garden Magazine will include our annual Philanthropy Report. Donate to the Association by June 15th and we’ll include you in our Donor Honor Roll.

JUNE IS 9700STRONG MONTH!

Members supporting members!

Join other members in donating and keep your connection strong! Donate during June and add your name (or do it in honor of someone):

Last year 9700 STRONG donations from members helped small gardens sustain their dues levels, helped Association staff quickly source tools and resources to navigate COVID-19 impacts, and launched a new virtual learning platform to bring professional development to more members more affordably.

Thanks to member philanthropy, more people than ever before engaged with the Association this year, bringing our membership roster up to 10,300 members!

Recovery is taking longer for some of your fellow gardens. That’s why we’re extending 9700 STRONG though summer 2021. Your donation during June provides critical support and sends a strong signal you care about your fellow members everywhere.

Donate to 9700STRONG and join the list here. Better yet, honor a fellow member with your gift!

2) Garden Scholars

Scholarships are more important than ever with professional development budgets on hold for many gardens. This year we’ve pledged to underwrite 50 registrations for conference and our fall/winter symposia and we need another $5,000 to support these efforts. Donate today to give someone who would otherwise never attend the opportunity to learn and connect with others.

3) GROW Public Gardens - THANK YOU!

Our 2021 Campaign that launched Earth Day and ran through May and Go Public Gardens Days was an amazing success! Thanks to PlantSnap for providing a free Pro version incentive for donations of $20 or more. We heard from 550 donors from around the world and raised more than $16,000 to support 73 gardens and the Association.

4) Annual Fund with NEW Honoree Option

This unrestricted fund fuels the Association's innovation year-round,. With these funds we stay flexible to be able to react to and, when possible, anticipate our members' needs for programs, resources, support, and connection.

WANT TO HONOR SOMEONE? We've now added an HONOREE section to this fund to give you the opportunity to make this gift in honor or memory of someone who has made an impact on your in your career or life.

5) Association Endowment Fund and Legacy Fund

You’re making your mark on your garden, and your visitors, every day. Now consider an investment that will amplify your impact across our entire industry.
