School gardens are growing across the country. How can garden professionals support these efforts in a meaningful and sustainable way? After all, most of us have our own properties to look after. We can’t maintain dozens of school gardens, too. As garden professionals, though, we possess a lot of knowledge – from horticulture to outdoor education to fundraising and beyond – that could benefit school garden educators. Participants in this session will learn how Naples Botanical Garden shares this institutional knowledge, supports school garden projects, and brings local garden educators together through its Collier Greens School Garden Network.

Presenter: B. Patterson-Weber, Naples Botanical Garden, Naples, Florida.
