Pollinator Research: Mt. Cuba Center

Mt. Cuba Center, located near Hockessin, Delaware, partners with the University of Delaware to research the ecological value of native plants for pollinators. The research from this partnership primarily focuses on the morphological differences between native plants and their cultivars, and how these differences affect pollinators. Researchers are also investigating differences in pollen morphology and nutritional content between cultivars of native plants.
