The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center uses a blend of education and conservation to support pollinators. The Wildflower Center provides visitors at plant sales with native plant species to create pollinator-friendly gardens, and partners with other organizations to help gardeners find plants that support pollinators. The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center together with the United States Botanic Garden created the Landscape for Life initiative. Landscape for Life includes a complete kit of teaching resources that can be used to conduct classes in sustainable home gardening and is based upon the principles of the Sustainable SITES initiative for developing sustainable landscapes.
