Searching for a new way to demonstrate your public garden is “more than just a pretty place?” Attend and learn to harness your garden’s power to improve lives. Public gardens can be a source of reflection and healing for people recovering from illness, loss, or dealing with life transition. Learn how the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens and Bloedel Reserve implemented Strolls for Well-Being programs to provide inspiration to people who need it. Scalable and adaptable to any garden, core program components include a guided meditation handbook covering twelve themes like awareness, forgiveness, and joy, coupled with facilitated group sessions.
