Earth has daunting climatic and socioeconomic challenges. Gardens wish to do their part in preserving biodiversity, but best practices are essential when working with and protecting wild populations. We will share inclusive and empowering information for conservation and possibilities for involvement! Through collaboration and mutual respect, experts from the Association’s Plant Conservation and Native Plant Sections will embolden gardens to engage in conservation efforts by sharing basic tenets of conservation, successful programs and partnerships, methods for tracking provenance, and protocols that weave biodiversity conservation goals into programs achievable for all native plant collections.
