ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR IN HORTICULTURE
The Department of Biological Sciences, Smith College, invites applications for an Adjunct
Instructor in Horticulture for academic year 2019-2020. We seek to appoint an individual to
teach two lecture courses (one course each semester) in horticulture. The successful candidate
would work collaboratively with the laboratory instructor who teaches the well-established
laboratory components of these courses, Plants in the Landscape and Botany for Gardeners.
This one-year position has the possibility of renewal. Qualifications for the position include a
Masters Degree in Horticulture or related discipline. Demonstrated strong commitment to
