Reporting to the Director, Visitor Experience & Marketing, the Marketing
Coordinator will focus on maintaining digital assets (website, social media, google search
optimization, and email marketing) used for the purpose of promotion of all aspects of the
Gardens. Candidate will be responsible for coordinating advertising & promotions, managing
online profiles and paid search promotions, content development, audience development,
maintaining institutional brand and identity, and results-driven impact in both visitor
engagement and financial gains.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, the ability to write engaging
content, an eye for layout and aesthetic details, exemplary time-management and prioritization
skills, grammatical precision, experience with the Microsoft office suite, Adobe InDesign, and
experience working with social media for a business or organization.

The successful candidate will be adept at generating engaging and relevant content, will
possess a strong attention to detail, and will have experience managing projects, timelines and experience managing a budget.
The ideal candidate will have:
A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field.
1-3 years of business-driven marketing experience, experience with project
management, timelines and budgeting
Proven problem-solving and planning capabilities
Engagement in the field with knowledge of best practices, technology and visitor
A mature level of judgment and decision-making in a changing, fast-paced, futurethinking and visitor-centric environment
Well-versed in social media and online content best practices
Some knowledge of graphic design preferred
Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner
Diplomatic and professional
Transparent and factual
Ability to follow and maintain style guidelines, and brand voice
Ability to project empathy with customers/visitors/online followers
