Interns will receive valuable experience in many aspects of public garden development and maintenance including but not limited to plant id, plant collection data base maintenance including mapping and data base record keeping, planting, plant maintenance, plant propagation and nursery management, garden design and construction and much more in one of the nation's premier plant collections.
Internship starts May 11, 2020 and runs through August 13, 2020 or as otherwise arranged.
Internship is for 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Internship pays $11.25 per hour.
Intern must be a full-time undergraduate student in a 2 or 4 year college program or be a self-supported graduate student. Students who graduate Spring semester 2020 are eligible to apply.
