BLUE SPRINGS, MO / KINGSVILLE, MO March 18, 2026Powell Gardens will officially celebrate the grand opening of Powell Gardens Colonial Farms on Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21, 2026. The two-day celebration marks the public launch of the newly acquired Blue Springs site and welcomes the Kansas City community to experience its next chapter.

Following the announcement of the acquisition of Colonial Gardens, now operating as Powell Gardens Colonial Farms, the grand opening weekend celebrates the site’s future as a vibrant hub for agriculture, education, shopping, and family experiences.

“This weekend represents more than a name change,” said Cody Jolliff, CEO of Powell Gardens. “It’s a celebration of community and a shared vision for connecting people to the land and its plants. We’re honored to carry forward the traditions families have loved while expanding opportunities for education and regenerative agriculture.”
