Public Gardens are a destination where people come to explore the splendor of plants, experience the serenity of nature, exercise in beautiful spaces, or enjoy one of our garden’s many engaging events or exhibitions. What connects each person’s visit together is the experience they have while at our gardens. The Arts & Exhibitions and Design & Planning communities will explore the process of creating quality and memorable spaces that people can explore, play, and learn in. Placemaking is a multi-faceted and collaborative approach drawing upon planning, design, interpretation, art, and engagement. Join our symposium as we share the creativity and strategies that have led to authentic connections between the people, the plants, and gardens.
