A Grant from the Ontario Government Through the Ontario Trillium Foundation Delivers New Outdoor Teaching Pavillion
WHAT:
On September 19 at 11:30 a.m., MPP Stephanie Bowman will be at the Toronto Botanical Garden to celebrate the results from a 2023 Ontario government grant funded through the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) to erect a new outdoor teaching pavilion offering school groups, families, and community groups a place to gather, learn, and explore nature in all four seasons.
MPP Stephanie Bowman and the Chair of OTF’s Toronto Grant Review Team, Peter McLeman, will attend the event to acknowledge the government grant and its impact on the community.
Stephanie Jutila, CEO of the Toronto Botanical Garden, will discuss the importance of the grant for the organization and the work being done.

If parking in the Toronto Botanical Garden parking lot, please note the new Teaching Garden Pavilion is located on the tablelands of Edwards Gardens. It is a 10-minute walk through the lower ravine to reach the Pavilion. Street parking on the Bridal Path, south of Lawrence Avenue, is the closest parking to the site location.
In the case of rain, the event will relocate to the Garden Hall at the Toronto Botanical Garden at 777 Lawrence Avenue East.
