René Pronovost Appointed Director of the Montréal Botanical Garden

“Montréal Space for Life is pleased to announce the appointment of René Pronovost as Director of the Montréal Botanical Garden. Mr. Pronovost successfully completed all the steps in a rigorous selection process and will now head up an institution ranked as one of the world’s five leading botanical gardens.

An agronomist by training, head of the Horticulture and Collections Division of the Botanical Garden since 2009, and acting Director of the Garden for the past year, Mr. Pronovost steered the recent heritage makeover of the Reception Gardens and the organization of the horticulture dimension of Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal in 2013.
