Landmarks Going Green

Go Public Gardens is an evergreen year-round initiative to encourage people to visit their local public gardens and arboretums. Go Green Lighting campaign kicks off our Go Public Gardens Days during the spring.

Each year historic landmarks, buildings, bridges, and public gardens turn their lights green either the first day or the entire spring season in support. Our campaign raises awareness around our national public gardens, the importance they play in our lives, and inspires younger generations to take care of our public spaces.
