Job Description

President & CEO of a Major Botanical Garden and event centre.

About Us

Magic Gardens is a new botanical garden project to be located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

The site is a magnificent 600 acre property and is currently going through various approval processes with the County Planning Department. If you are familiar with GARDENS AT THE BAY in Singapore that has developed close to 100 million visitors and $4.5 billion dollars in revenue in approximately 8 years, then think bigger!

Our goal is to be the #1 garden in the world.

This magnificent property is unique in that unlike any other iconic garden in the world it has a 1,500′ elevation change from the top end of the site to the bottom. This allows the architects to create an unprecedented design.

We are a for profit corporation and expect to develop up to 3.5 million visitors a year within 3-5 years.

Our inward expected investment in the property funded through a Limited Partnership Agreement and various other forms of funding, grants, donations, events, licensing and partnerships with other gardens is expected to be in the region of just under $900 million USD.

We are looking for a dynamic leader who can do it all. Funding, partnerships, promotion, marketing, the works! You have a blank canvas and the goal is to build a better and more exciting garden than GARDENS AT THE BAY.

You must have a proven record of success as a CEO and your earnings are unlimited based on successful performance. We invite candidates, men and women to submit their resumes ASAP for consideration.

Duties & Responsibilities

To develop a global tourist attraction similar to Gardens At The Bay in Singapore.
To oversee and arrange the various funding resources both private, public and governmental
To deal with all issues pertaining to the requirements of the local planning authorities and the various departments including water, sewer, fire, health, VDOT and more.
To market and promote the MAGIC GARDEN locally, nationally and internationally
To oversee and promote the Family Office procurement and other funding opportunities.
To oversee and obtain national and international licensing arrangements from major participants and companies who may seek naming rights to some of the major exhibits.
To oversee the development of construction, landscaping, and all botanical garden requirements.
Additional requirements may be listed as the development moves forward.

Education and Experience

A proven track record of success.
