Job Description
The Bellevue Botanical Garden Society (BBGS) is seeking an experienced, hands-on Finance Director to lead the organization’s financial operations and help build the systems and infrastructure needed to support our continued growth.
This newly created, part-time position (approximately 30 hours per week) will bring financial operations fully in-house and establish a stable, reliable foundation for the future. The Finance Director will also play a key role in strengthening organizational decision-making through financial insight and analysis, helping leadership and program managers understand financial performance, identify trends, and evaluate opportunities.
We are seeking someone who is equally comfortable with the precision and rigor of nonprofit accounting and the broader strategic thinking required in a growing organization with increasingly complex financial operations.

Our role is to raise funds, support the Garden’s physical growth and development, and provide a broad range of programs and events designed to engage, inspire and inform Garden visitors. We rely on donations, memberships, special events and sponsorships to support the free and low-cost educational programs for children and adults that enrich our community.
