Position Overview:
This is a key member of the eCommerce team within the Information Systems Department that is responsible for software applications that drive customer engagement and revenue. This person will act as primary application owner of ticketing and membership software, digital signage software, and as backup for our donor management system. This person will work closely with stakeholders on capturing business requirements, configuring the systems for these needs, conducting user acceptance testing, and drafting training materials.

Duties & Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
Ticketing and membership software:
Configure ticketing software to support all aspects of online and onsite sales of admissions, parking, memberships, membership upgrades, donations, classes, camps, and events.
Collaborate with eCommerce team to ensure data integrity of member and visitor records.
Implement training and process updates to ensure all departments working in Galaxy have the skills needed to perform high quality work.
Monitor product for updates and upgrades and proactively plan and schedule these upgrades.
Review and test upcoming versions, patches, and releases prior to installation to minimize disruption to operations.
Optimize the use of Galaxy; coordinate training of the front line staff to promote consistent business practices.
Build all events, items, packages, and resources needed in Galaxy to enable customers to make purchases.
Ensure all items for sale are built in accordance with best practices for proper accounting, reporting and system integration.
Troubleshoot membership problems, data entry errors, and financial reconciliation issues.
Digital display software:
Onboard new employees and new users of the system.
Conduct system audits for use and content and report areas of that are underutilized.
Monitor product for updates and new features and roll out to users.
Create and maintain role-based security access.
Donor management software:
Provide backup support for the Raiser’s Edge donor management application
Ensure membership records and transactions are in sync between ticketing/membership system and donor management system.
Correct membership records as needed in multiple systems to ensure high data quality.
Education and Experience
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years experience as Application Owner for multiple systems.
Ability to multitask and adjust priorities as needed and can interface with various stakeholders at different levels of the organization and manage their expectations accordingly.
Proficiency in configuring and supporting ticketing systems, specifically Galaxy’s Gateway or a similar platform.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into system configurations.
Proficiency in system testing and quality assurance processes, including identifying and resolving issues.
Strong documentation and training skills, with the ability to develop clear and concise materials.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Nice to have the following:
End user training experience—new users and existing
Experience in project management and vendor coordination is a plus
Relational database knowledge
Physical Demands:
Office setting. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, listening, speaking, and keyboarding. Heavy use of computer/laptop. Infrequent need for lifting, pushing, or pulling items less than 30 pounds.
