About Us

Trees Atlanta is a nationally recognized non-profit community group committed to protecting and improving Atlanta’s urban forest through planting, conserving, and educating. Empowered by its wonderful community of volunteers, Trees Atlanta serves the metro Atlanta area, and has grown to become one of Atlanta’s most widely known and supported non-profit organizations.

Managed by Trees Atlanta, in partnership with Atlanta Beltline, Inc., Atlanta Beltline Partnership, and the City of Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation, the Atlanta Beltline Arboretum is a public garden centered on promoting native plants through education, restoration, demonstration, and display. First imagined in 2005 the Atlanta Beltline Arboretum is currently certified as a level 2 arboretum.
