The West Virginia Botanic Garden (WVBG), located in Morgantown, is the only botanic garden in the state of West Virginia. The WVBG encompasses 85 acres and features over four miles of trails including a wetland boardwalk, virgin hemlock forest, and a number of garden areas. The WVBG also offers a wide variety of educational programs and special events throughout the year. Admission is free and open to the public every day of the year, dawn to dusk.

In harmony with nature, the WVBG seeks to enhance the quality of life through public enjoyment and education involving inspirational landscapes and displays of a rich variety of ornamental plants appropriate to the region.
