The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, named one of the top 10 gardens in America by USA Today, serves 22,500 members, 1,000 volunteers and over 334,000 visitors each year. With its 1,200 acres, 32 display and specialty gardens, 48 plant collections and 5,000+ plant species and varieties, the Arboretum has become one of the premier horticultural field laboratories and public display areas in the country, reaching out as a living, vibrant extension of the University of Minnesota’s College of Food, Agricultural, and Natural Resource Sciences. Open 363 days a year, the Arboretum is located on State Hwy.5, nine miles west of the intersection with Interstate 494.
