How is your garden working to promote mental and physical health and well-being in your community?

Public gardens offer an amazing refuge from the noise, pollution, and stress that can be detrimental to human health. Gardens have a unique way of reorienting us to the beauty of life and provide inspiration and tools for making positive changes.

In this webinar speakers will discuss things that you can implement in your garden to promote health & wellness, from establishing health related policies for staff/volunteers to partnering with community organizations to provide programming like school gardens to educating the public about how plants can contribute to physical health and stress relief.

Join this session to learn creative ways to address health and wellness in your garden!

The presentations will last for about an hour, followed by a 'Sustainability Insights' interactive session to get your questions about this topic answered!

Susan Grelock-Yusem, Nature & Well-Being Program, Bloedel Reserve
