This webinar will cover identification and management of invasive bamboo species in the Southeast. Bamboo is a large perennial grass that has been used as an ornamental plant in the United States for many years. Most imported bamboos that are fast growing, highly invasive, and difficult to contain. This is because the root structures of most invasive varieties are made up of large networks of underground rhizomes that must be targeted to kill the plant. This webinar will cover the biology, identification and management of several common invasive bamboo species in the southeastern U.S.
