IDEA Lounge

In our second IDEA Lounge we will continue the conversation about diversifying recruitment with a focus on the disability community.

We hope you bring your questions, but here are some ideas:

·         How do I reach the disability community?

·         How can we make sure to have the right accommodations for our employees?

·         I have a new employee that asked for an accommodations but I feel that our office isn’t accessible. What do I do?

·         One of my staff broke their leg, what questions do I ask and plan for if a mobility disability is new to my staff and me?

Our hope is to make the IDEA Lounge a space for people to share struggles, triumphs, and joys, and a way to create and build new communities, new relationships and new possibilities.
