This is the second in a four part garden Board Member series.
It’s natural and fitting, especially in times of crisis and recovery, for leadership to focus on the bottom line. But Boards can easily develop a case of acute spreadsheet-itis, rather than asking staff how they can help. This session for board members only explores how you can individually and collectively advance your institution, while providing compassionate governance and leadership support. Jerusha Schmalzel from Blackbaud will also present findings from their latest report, “Navigating the New Normal” to help shape fundraising strategy now. Jerusha is a former development and fundraising professional in the arts & cultural world. She is also on the board of MOCA Tucson and is helping her board with external-facing steps to take in 2021.
Registration is open to garden board members only.
