The Atlanta Botanical Garden has named Jessica Boatright its new Vice President of Marketing.
Boatright had served since 2015 as Director of Marketing for the Alliance Theatre where she directed marketing, sales, brand strategy, digital media and patron experience for the Tony Award-winning theatre, the largest producing one in the Southeast.
A native of Pittsburgh, she previously was Vice President, Marketing for Points of Light, the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer service, and prior to that was Director of Brand Strategy and Special Initiatives for Habitat for Humanity International.
At the Garden, Boatright will also oversee the guest experience and gift shop teams in addition to marketing and public relations.
“Jessica brings a wealth of knowledge about marketing, social media and public relations to the Garden,” said Mary Pat Matheson, the Garden’s President & CEO. “She also has a deep understanding of the importance of the guest experience, something that is an important value for all of us at the Garden. Jessica is thoughtful, strategic and collaborative, and those skills will enable us to achieve many of the Garden’s strategic goals in the coming years.”
