Angel Dean Collins has over 15 years of experience as an executive assistant to chief executives in the non-profit sector and has supported or managed ten governing and advisory boards.

In both her EA and service career, Angel has planned and executed numerous small to medium sized meetings, conferences, and special events, ranging from executive retreats to gala fundraising dinners, destination weddings and multi-day board meetings in remote national parks. As an administrative leader, Angel has managed corporate offices, supervised building and support staff, and led a global network of administrative professionals. Her previous roles include: Executive Assistant to the CHRO and Administrative Manager at FLIR (2019-2020), Executive Assistant and Governance Officer at Eurasia Foundation (2014-2018), Director of the Office of the President at the National Park Foundation (2012-2014), Executive Assistant to the Founding Executive Director of the George W. Bush Institute (2010-2012), Executive Assistant to the President & CEO at the Association for Talent Development (2006-2009), and more.

After being laid off during the COVID-19 Pandemic, Angel turned her attention to working with flowers. Her hobby of making arrangements for friends and special occasions quickly developed into a home-based floral design studio that specializes in weddings and events, employs sustainable design techniques, and prioritizes sourcing from local flower growers. From 2020-2022, Angel contributed to the flower economy by helping DC-area flower growers get their products to market, designing for a sustainable wedding studio, and freelancing at a high-volume flower shop. In late 2022, Angel fell in love with seven acres in Pulaski County, Virginia, where she now lives and plans to build a small flower farm.

Angel Dean Collins grew up in a family business in the small town of Haleyville, Alabama, where her parents still live. Angel earned a B.A. in English with a minor in History from the University of New Orleans at the age of 35. She has been happily married to her husband, Keith Brophy, for over 20 years and is the mother of two adult daughters (Parker and Keller), two rescue pups (Pheobe and Harper Lee), and has recently entered her Grammie Era (grandson, Marshall).
