Come discover one of Florida's oldest and most treasured natural attractions, McKee Botanical Garden. Located on an 18-acre tropical hammock, McKee Botanical Garden is home to a diverse collection of 10,000 native and tropical plants as well as one of the state's largest collections of waterlilies. Rich in history, the Garden dates back to the 1930's and features two historic structures designed and built by original co-founder Waldo Sexton. More than just a destination for horticulture, McKee offers a variety of cultural and educational programs as well as renowned art exhibitions each year. It is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and endorsed by The Nature Conservancy as a project of national significance.
