The Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory is an oasis in the heart of downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana providing a unique attraction that is Always in Season.
Guests of the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory experience multiple garden environments beginning in the Showcase House, with its four seasonal exhibits. From there, guests enter the multi-level Tropical House, where lush foliage thrives against the backdrop of a cascading waterfall. Wrapping up their visit, guests explore the quiet beauty of the Desert House.
The Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory boasts over 24,500 square feet of indoor garden space with additional outdoor gardens featuring scenic vistas, shaded pathways, and zonal trees and shrubs. It is one of few conservatories in the world located in a downtown urban setting. It is the only indoor public garden serving Northeast Indiana’s nearly 800,000 residents, welcoming over 100,000 guests annually.
Since 1983, the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory has served as a cultural anchor in the community. As a treasured asset of the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department, the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory is dedicated to providing inspiration, education, and entertainment while promoting the restorative beauty of its gardens.
