The Chicago Botanic Garden’s mission is “We cultivate the power of plants to sustain and enrich life.” Since opening in 1972, the Garden has matured into one of the world's great living museums and conservation science centers. Regenstein Learning Campus opened in 2016, and is home to the Joseph Regenstein, Jr. School of the Chicago Botanic Garden, which offers a year-round continuum of nature-based learning through more than 1,500 classes, programs and events.
