Is Your Collection Ready to Meet the Challenge?
2010 Deadline Extended to September 10
American Public Gardens Association announces the 2010 NAPCC Challenge Grant, awarding a limited number of $1,000 grants to successful first-time NAPCC applicants.
Purpose: The NAPCC Challenge Grant was established through an anonymous donation to encourage APGA member gardens to apply for participation in the North American Plant Collections Consortium. We recognize that gardens invest considerable time and effort into developing a successful collections program. This grant is intended to offset expenses of NAPCC application and review process, with any remainder going toward curation of the collection.
Grant Amount: $1,000. No matching funds required. Limit of one grant per institution.
Grant Period: February 1 through September 10, 2010. (*Note extended deadline) Grant request must be submitted in conjunction with a complete NAPCC application.
Please note: funds are limited. Grants are considered on a first-come, first-served basis determined by the date on which a complete NAPCC application is received in the APGA office.
