The City of Bellevue Names Fonk Garden Manager
The City of Bellevue Parks and Community Services department is pleased to welcome Nancy Fonk as the new Garden Manager of the Bellevue Botanical Garden. Nancy served as the first Bellevue Botanical Garden Curator from 1992-1995, and has remained connected to the garden over the past ten years as a Bellevue Botanical Garden Society member, as well as a board member in recent years. Nancy's educational background and work experience include a Bachelor's degree in Ornamental Horticulture, and a variety of administrative duties atthe As of February 2007, Amy Dahan will serve as Heathcote's Interim Director and former Director, Allie Comer, will become Heathcote's new part-time Head Gardener. This team will provide continuity and a smooth transition as Heathcote finalizes long-awaited expansion plans.
