About APGA
Celebrating 70 years as the leader for public gardens, the APGA (formerly AABGA) includes over 500 public gardens and thousands of garden professionals. Members hail from 50 states, the District of Columbia, and 23 countries, and represent a wide variety of venues: traditional botanical gardens and arboreta, nature centers, sculpture gardens, museums with outdoor exhibit spaces, display gardens, historic landscapes, community gardens, zoos, campus arboreta, and even cemeteries. APGA members also include students working towards degrees in public horticulture, science, and botany, and those doing research; public garden interns; retired professionals; and volunteers within the industry. APGA also has a vibrant corporate membership that includes companies that provide services or products to public gardens. Being a part of APGA makes it easy to network and stay in touch with others in the public horticultural community.
Mission
