General Summary:   The Campaign Prospect Researcher works in coordination with the Prospect Researcher to help identify, research, and analyze prospects capable of campaign gifts. The Researcher also supports the entry and tracking of all prospect-related information into the Raisers Edge database. This is a temporary position for the duration of the capital campaign expected to run through 2018.
Job Qualifications

Previous Training and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts or related field required and two years of research experience in a nonprofit, library sciences, or related field preferred. Experience and proficiency using a variety of research tools and managing donor information using a fundraising database is required. Raiser’s Edge experience strongly preferred. Experience in writing and preparing prospect profiles. Demonstrated comfort and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs including, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Physical/Mental Requirements
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be detail oriented and possess solid organizational skills. Ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines. Ability to act with sensitivity and discretion while managing confidential information. Must be able to exercise diplomacy and tact while managing the requests of internal and external constituents. Ability to set priorities independently in order to meet expectations for multiple projects is essential.
Working Conditions
1. Work performed in a fast-paced office setting with prolonged periods in front of a computer screen.
2. Some outdoor work required.
3. Occasional weekend and evening hours required.
