Gain hands-on experience in all aspects of greenhouse production, floral design and cut flower production in the setting of a historic 1916 estate. Assist the professional staff in bedding and potted plant production along with the production, arrangement and maintenance of floral displays. Duties include care of annuals, perennials and bulb crops in the cut flower garden, watering and upkeep of greenhouse crops and integrated pest management. Interns will also assist with public events and will be placed in areas to enhance their professional goals. Public programs and maintenance practices emphasize environmental responsibility.

· Compensation: $8.50 to $11.00/hr depending on experience.
· Position available between April and September, dependent on student's schedule.
Qualifications: Enrolled in B.S. program in Horticulture, Floriculture, Botany, Landscape Architecture or Environmental Science
